Diamondback Services, Inc started in the small package delivery service in 1989 as Arrowhead Delivery Services with two vans and a delivery radius of fifty miles. Arrowhead specialized in same day and rush shipments, with an emphasis on personalized customer service.

That basic model served them well, and by 1998 they had expanded their fleet to 25 vehicles to include straight trucks and tractor-trailers. With this expansion, Arrowhead widened their service area to over 350 miles, serving a seven state area.

Success continued into 2000, and more development was seen. Over-the-road hauling and consulting work were added to the ever-growing repertoire of the business. A name change was also implemented: Arrowhead Delivery Services became Diamondback Services, Incorporated.

In 2003 Diamondback became an agent for an air freight company, Lynden International, servicing their needs with daily pickups and deliveries in the region. March 2007 brought the addition of warehouse management. Diamondback Services currently operates two buildings with over 225,000 square feet of warehouse space, providing excellent service to the 350-450 inbound and outbound shipments per week. This affiliation provided yet another strong avenue of business for the company, solidifying Diamondback’s presence in Kansas City and surrounding areas for years to come.

Along with these milestones in business expansion, Diamondback Services, Inc. is equally proud of their reputation for excellent customer service. Consideration of the customers’ needs is number one at DSI, and their track record proves it: their success rate for same-day and rush delivery is recognized as the best in the industry. Diamondback boasts its ability to be both large enough to fulfill all of a customer’s delivery requirements, but small enough to be able to give each customer personal attention. These achievements are attributed and made possible by the excellent staff Diamondback employs. Over half of the current employees have been with the company for over five years, many for over a decade.
